Constantinople by Al Stewart ~ A Parable about Achieving Peace by Uniting the Left and the Right

Constantinople, today known as Istanbul, has historically been the Most Fought over Major City in the entire World, as it is the Middle Point, Logistically, between the West and the Far East, between Europe and Asia...

To that end, Constantinople has long been described as a Her, the Grand Lady, or the Holy Sister that Seeks to Unite the West and the East, instead of always pitting it against one another...

Thus, for Al Stewart, who Never wrote Songs that were not Parables, Constantinople acts as the Metaphor for the Heart Chakra, the Centerpoint between Two Vastly Different Worlds, both Within us and Without...the Heart Chakra Seeks to Unite our 3 Lower Chakras with our Three Higher Chakras, so that our Physical World may come into Balance with our Spiritual Reality, while it also Seeks to Unite the Left Brain Ego with the Divinity of Casting our Nets to our Right Brain...

And the Heart Chakra represents both the Sacred Feminine, and of course, our Sacred Mother Earth, who is the Defining example of the Sacred Feminine...

So, when it came time to Create Video, God reminded me of Peter O'Toole's Performance in Lawrence of Arabia, where he Magically UNITED both is Masculine Warrior Side with that of his Conscience, his Care and Compassion, so that he Epitomized the Ideal Leader of Men, Uniting their Hopes and Dreams behind what was Right and Fair, versus than what was Available to be Conquered! And thus, his performance in Lawrence of Arabia is the PERFECT Metaphor for Al Stewart's Narrative within this Epic Song...

So, as you enjoy this Grandiose Video taken from Director, David Lean's Spectacular Movie, just remember what Al Stewart is Teaching us within the Metaphor of the this Song, that to Achieve Peace within 'Constantinople', which represents our Own House being Divided by two Halves of the Brain, that ONLY by Raising the Sacred Feminine Within us, the Kundalini Rising, will we Ever find Peace for the CENTER City, or Center Point of the Human Body and Brain...
