20 Minute Upper Body Calisthenics
It was another gorgeous day, almost hot! The fake grass was hot on my stocking feet in the sun. I started today's workout with 3 Sets of monkey bars. I went all the way across on the first set. On the third set, I tore open two blisters on my right hand. One of them is almost an inch long. That made the rest of the workout a bit more painful! From there I did dips. I didn't go to failure on the first set. I think I could still crank out 15 reps if I gave it a good go. I may start doing HIT sets and more exercises instead of more sets in the future. After dips, I did l-sit Pull-Ups. These were very challenging given the callus situation on my hand. I ended up gripping the rings with just my fingers to do the Pull-Ups. I definitely need to increase my strength on these once again. I finished things off with a superset of ring push-ups and ring rows into an extension. I was definitely toast after that. All in all, a good upper body session on a bright sunshiny day!
