Ghost Town

Peak 1980s low budget horror Ghost Town was one of my favorite movies to watch in my late teens. Technically a Weird Western set in the modern day it follows the adventure of a modern day deputy tracking an abducted girl to a town full of literal ghosts. Ghosts who are all at the mercy of an outlaw gang that made a pact with Satan!

This movie would be rated PG-13 nowadays but there is some cussing, very mild “gore” (think the stuff you see at a Halloween store) and a couple of scenes clothed people touching fully clothed bewbs because this was the 80s. Surprisingly movie critic Leonard Maltin liked the movie. Unfortunately it opened the same day as Child’s Play and was a box office failure.
