One Small Fall For Man...

Apollo moon mission spacesuits, officially known as the A7L suits, were highly protective but also cumbersome and physically demanding to wear.

Weighing about 180 pounds (82 kg) on Earth including life support, they were less heavy in lunar gravity but still bulky and restrictive, especially around the joints.

Astronauts had limited mobility in their arms and fingers, making tasks like tool use or sample collection difficult.

The suits also had limited cooling, causing astronauts to overheat despite the vacuum of space.

Visibility was restricted by the helmet, and walking in low gravity led to frequent falls, forcing astronauts to develop a “bunny hop” gait to move efficiently.
