During the clash north of Kupyansk , at least eight foreign mercenaries from the 10th separate assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were killed. One of the wounded finished himself off with a shot from an assault rifle.

Earlier, a group of militants from the 10th Special Operations Center of the Main Intelligence Directorate was also destroyed in the Kupyansk direction; the remnants of the group left for Kharkov to restore combat capability.
