The Chosen Matthew Confronts Judas About Missing Money

The Chosen Season 4 Episode 6, John ponders what they can get Thomas and they ultimately decide to get him new sandals. Matthew checks the purse to see if there is enough money and is surprised by how little he finds. He decides to check with Judas to see if there’s another purse. Judas is not happy about Matthew’s request - insisting that they don’t have enough money and so they’ll need to barter their way up. Matthew is confused, because he’s already done the calculations in his head and he’s confident that they should have enough money, even after the recent expenditures.
