A knight leaps forward its power surreal
Some sit by their castles walls so high
Others walk bare under the open sky

Oh it's a chessboard the game’s never fair
Some hold castles some breathe only air
We play and we fall till the clock does chime
Lost and found on the chess of time

The bishops they glide on diagonals unseen
Paths intertwined yet split in between
Rooks stand like towers unmoved and still
While the clock ticks louder endless until

Whispered rumors say the queen runs free
Rules bent and broken for destiny
No home runs here just a quiet chase
Every move writes another story’s trace
