Passover, God's New Year

Passover is the start of God’s calendar, its not New Year on our Gregorian calendar or even the Jewish calendar - but it is in the Biblical calendar. God doesn’t begin His year by causing us to remember His amazing creation, but His amazing mercy. Passover begins the annual cycle of the journey of salvation! Life is a journey. Faith is a journey. Israel leaving slavery and entering the Promised Land was a huge journey of faith.

Passover is an annual reminder: like us writing important dates into our calendar, so we don't' forget.

Some years ago, New York Times reported a top trend across the world was Christians reconnecting to their Jewish roots. This mostly came about by Christians attending a Passover Seder.
