As was the case the previous week with Midway Denton, this would be the last time the Crusaders would play Highland. They would combine with Midway at the end of this season to form the Doniphan West Mustangs (https://www.kansashsfootballhistory.com/teams.cfm?school=Highland).

It's wild to think that the year previous, Highland defeated Hanover 44-40.
