In preparation for Easter on this Palm Sunday, Pastor Jim today spoke on John 13:18-32 in a message titled "A Revelation in the Upper Room." To introduce today's sermon Pastor spoke of it terms of a glimpse into the future for the disciples. We would perhaps prefer not to know more of our future life, especially it it contains hardships. But, the disciples got such a glimpse, a future of treachery, with Judas's betrayal, one of trouble, but also a proclamation of triumph. Jesus would prevail. Placing our trust in Him means we are ultimately secure.
