Understanding the Passover Seder

As Christians, we should have a deep respect for the origins of our faith, which God began with establishing Abraham and his descendants as the people that would bring forth the Messiah. After their miraculous release from captivity in Egypt, God established the festival of Passover, to commemorate the hasty departure of Israel from their captors. This event that is still celebrated today is filled with rich heritage and insight into the past events, but when we begin to explore it further, a whole new revelation is made.

Join our live event hosted by HFCC where our packed audience was able to learn about the origins, evolution and meanings behind this holy observance, and were even able to taste the elements as we progressed.

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
