The Border
The message on April 13, 2025 was on “The Border”. This is a popular subject here in America in that the previous administration ran an open border policy that has been reversed by the new administration. Borders are important. Wayne shared that a great example of this is to take a ferry from England to Belgium and when they land and you depart, there is a major adjustment to the correct side of the road that you need to pay attention to in order that you will not cause a terrible collision. The same is true in scripture doctrinally. The principles of right division help you see the distinctions so you cause a collision spiritually. We looked again at Isaiah 6:9-10 KJV and how is was quoted three times in the New Testament. The first was in Matt. 13:13-15 when the Jews started denying who Jesus was, the second in John 12:40 where there was the judgement of unbelief, and finally in Acts 28:25-27 where the Apostle Paul passes judgment and closes Acts. In AD 70, the Temple was destroyed and PAul was given a new revelation called The Mystery and it imposed a significant border for Israel. Post-Acts, a new calling has been declared and in The Mystery, the Jew and the Greek have been made a new man. You must identify the new rules of the road because if you try to apply that pertaining to Israel, you may cause a crash because there a new rules for the road.
The scripture reading was from Matthew 22:1-7 KJV “1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, 2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, 3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. 4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. 5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: 6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. 7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.”
