Hey, there! Andrew Anderson. This is Cigar Sunday. And I wanna bring up a point about whether or not you have written procedures and plans for pretty much everything that you're doing. A lot of your employees or your team members may resist this, but you need to have a book that you can flip open, not on a computer screen, I know there's a bunch of fancy ones out there, but that you can look, open, and this is how we do this. This is step one, two, step two, step three, step four. And I'm amazed at how many companies don't do that. Like 90% don't, at least the ones that we run into. That can make such a huge difference on your profitability. It's not even, it's not even close to funny.
And then, if you don't understand what's going on, usually that process can be shortened down quite a bit. And especially now if you're using Ai, you can cut your time on doing things by 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%.
But to do Ai and integrate it correctly, you've gotta feed it to procedures and all the steps. And oftentimes, when we go in and we install systems, we automate through Ai, a lot of things, this is the first time that they do that. And we can do the Ai automations fairly quickly nowadays. We've been doing 'em, I don't know, for three or four years now. Four years. But the thing that is, typically the first step is to systemize whatever they're trying to do.
So, I'll put out a sheet somewhere, and I know this is basic stuff, but I'm telling you, if you don't get it, it's like not tying your shoelaces when you're running a race. You're gonna eventually trip, and the results are not good.
So, see if you can get your systems in place for everything that you got. Just spend a Sunday if you're the owner or the manager, and get it put out. And there's some tools with Ai, you can do it, but just get out a pad and pencil if you're a pencil, or if you're a typer, do that. But just go look at everything that you guys do from sales, to client intake, to client fulfillment or product fulfillment if you're doing services, and write it down to get a system in place.
And then, once you get ready to do your Ai with it, it'll go like that. And we can usually save, when we install Ai in any given procedures, we can usually save at least 70% of the time. And it's oftentimes like 99.9%, like things that used to take 3 or 4 or 5 hours, we can get done in 10 minutes.
