Why Are Newborns Being Given Hep B Vaccines & Medication on Their First Day of Life?

The Hepatitis B vaccine is required for kids to attend public school in almost every state.

Hep B is transmitted through blood, sex, or sharing needles….

Mothers are tested tor Hep B before birth, so if mom is negative, there’s no risk to the baby.
