Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty | The true ending to Cyberpunk...
Gameplay Part 22
Part 7 of Phantom Liberty
Returning to Night City as cyber-enhanced mercenary V, you'll embark on a high-stakes mission of espionage as you attempt to save Myers -- former CEO of Militech and current NUS President -- who has crash-landed in the dangerous district of Dogtown while traveling on the Space Force One. Ruled by a trigger-happy militia, Dogtown will test your limits as you'll be forced to forge alliances within a web of shattered loyalties and sinister political machinations.
In this playthrough we cover:
Gig: Race to the Top: V is tasked by Rayes with infiltrating the Kendachi factory in Arroyo, Santo Domingo, to steal critical data. Approaching the factory, V can scale perimeter scaffolding to bypass the barbed-wire fence. Inside, the facility is heavily guarded by both human enemies and robots. V ascends to an office area to access a computer and retrieve the required data.
Side Job: Moving Heat: V receives a message from Netrunner Ashlay regarding the Quadra Sport R-7 "Charon," that needs its data wiped. Ashlay provides coordinates leading to the EBM Petrochem Stadium. Upon arrival, V navigates through the stadium, killing Barghest forces. Successfully reaching the garage allows V to claim the Charon vehicle.
Gig: Roads to Redemption: Mr. Hands contacts V to prevent a terrorist attack and introduces Nele Sprinter, who provides a shard to neutralize a bomb inside a factory. V accesses the factory using code 1701 and confronts guards and turrets, Navigating to the manufacturing floor, before finding the bomb room. Uploading the program from the shard neutralizes the bomb. Just before V meets up with Nele to hand over the shard, a group of Biotechnica agents will show up and try to arrest Nele, but V kills them.
Gig: Spy in the Jungle: Mr. Hands informs V about Mark Bana, a missing individual sought by Brazilian intelligence agents. V meets these agents at the Paradise Hotel and learns that Bana's biomonitor was last active at Organitopia. Traveling to Terra Cognita, V confronts scavengers outside the facility. Inside Organitopia, V navigates through scav-infested areas and landmines, progressing through an arcade and museum hall. Bana contacts V, guiding them to his location. Upon reaching the designated area, V encounters Boris Ribakov descending from above, leading to a boss fight confrontation. Inside a hidden room, V confronts “Bana,” who’s revealed to be Katya Karelina—an imposter using a voice modulator to impersonate him. Katya admits to interrogating the real Bana for SovOil before his death but denies being responsible for it. Ana, furious at the revelation, orders V to kill Katya. V then chooses to destroy Bana’s biomonitor in front of Ana rather than hand it over, effectively severing their cooperation and ensuring the cover-up fails.
Gig: Hi Ho Silver Lining: After completing all of Mr. Hands' Phantom Liberty gigs, V receives a message from him inviting them to the Heavy Hearts Club. Upon arrival and waiting for the club to open, V meets Mr. Hands in a private room, where he expresses gratitude for V's efforts and informs them of a reward waiting outside. Exiting the club, V finds a Sport R-7 "Sterling" vehicle parked outside, which is then added to V's list of owned vehicles.
Who Wants to Live Forever: V is informed by Reed that the surgeons have developed the correct neural matrix command for the operation. V is instructed to wait on the rooftop of Misty's Esoterica, where an FIA AV will pick them up for the surgery. Before the operation, V has a final conversation with Johnny Silverhand, discussing his fears about being removed from V's consciousness. Once ready, V contacts Reed, signaling the point of no return. The FIA agents arrive, and V boards the AV, leading to the operation that aims to remove the Relic.
Things Done Changed: Following the operation, V awakens in an FIA-operated hospital in Langley, having been in a coma for two years. Reed visits and explains the events that transpired during V's unconsciousness. V then has the option to contact friends. After these interactions, V leaves the clinic and is driven by Delamain back to Night City. Upon arrival, V notices significant changes, including Misty's shop being replaced by a Zetatech store. Visiting Viktor's clinic, V discusses the current state of affairs and reflects on the transformations that have occurred. He then gets robbed when leaving and found by Misty who encourages him to leave NC and start on a new path.
