The edge of Kweku

Kweku, a bright student in Kumasi, dreams of becoming a doctor until his friend Isaac introduces him to drugs.
His grades plummet, he steals from his mother Abena, and he’s cast out, spiralling into addiction with Isaac’s crew. Desperate and alone, he hits rock bottom.
A teacher finds him and offers help, pulling him toward recovery.
A year later, Kweku works at Abena’s stall, fighting to rebuild, his dreams faint but alive.
