Michael Schmidt was born in Germany in 1954 and grew up in post-war Europe with basic, healthy nutrition. He trained in agriculture and farmed for 10 years in Europe before immigrating to Canada in 1983. In Canada, he continued farming and food processing, but faced legal challenges for providing raw milk to consumers. Schmidt has been a vocal advocate for raw milk and natural food production for over 30 years, fighting numerous legal battles and conducting research on the health benefits of raw milk. He is the author of a book detailing his legal saga titled ""Raw Milk and the Search for Human Kindness.""
