Judge Napolitano - Ray McGovern

Ray McGovern is a former CIA analyst, presidential briefer, and co-founder of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS). Over a 27-year career at the CIA, he served under seven U.S. presidents, delivered the President’s Daily Brief, and led the Soviet Foreign Policy Branch during the height of the Cold War. Known for his deep expertise on Russia and Eastern Europe, McGovern emphasized diplomacy and mutual understanding over confrontation—an approach he still champions today.

Since retiring, McGovern has become a vocal critic of U.S. foreign policy, particularly the misuse of intelligence to justify war. Gaza

Military Operations and Territorial Changes
Israeli forces have expanded their control within the Gaza Strip, now occupying approximately one-third of the territory. This includes the establishment of buffer zones and the division of Gaza into separate areas, notably isolating the city of Rafah. These actions have led to the displacement of around 400,000 Palestinians between March and April 2025.

A significant military offensive is ongoing in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood of Gaza City. On April 9, an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential building in this area, resulting in the deaths of at least 35 Palestinians and injuring over 70 others. The Israeli military stated that the strike aimed to eliminate a senior Hamas commander.
