Ray McGovern is a former CIA analyst, presidential briefer, and co-founder of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS). Over a 27-year career at the CIA, he served under seven U.S. presidents, delivered the President’s Daily Brief, and led the Soviet Foreign Policy Branch during the height of the Cold War. Israeli forces have expanded their control within the Gaza Strip, now occupying approximately one-third of the territory.
