Islands forged by fire-The Galapagos as you've never seen them

The Galapagos Islands are known as the islands forged by fire. They were created by volcanic activity. Lava shot through the earth's crust and up into the ocean, forming pillars that cooled to make the beaches and form the land masses that are now home to vast numbers of birds, lizards, sea lions, and marine life.
This view from above is rarely seen footage that captures the indescribable beauty of the ocean where it meets the land. The greens and blues contrast with the black lava and brown sand to create a visual masterpiece, as if painted by an artist with a love for this planet and the beauty that it holds.
In one scene, a sea lion can be seen charging through a school of selemas in an attempt to feed on some of the tasty fish. In another, a nasca booby dives from above to catch a fish that has come dangerously close to the surface to feed.
The Galapagos Islands are hostile, beautiful, and diverse. Their animals and plants have been studied in an attempt to unlock the secrets that they hold that might help us understand the world and ourselves.
