Adventures of Chris Review

Every once in a while I need a break from epic, expansive RPGs to play something that offers a change of pace. Adventures of Chris was the perfect game for just that purpose. This is a solid adventure platformer that takes inspiration from the best games of the 90s like Mega Man X, Metroid, Super Mario World, as well as Disney platformers like Aladdin and Lion King. It has a wonderful hand-drawn aesthetic, a Saturday morning cartoon feel, solid mechanics, and really tough boss fights! If you're looking for something that doesn't take itself too seriously but will offer a legitimate challenge, definitely check out Adventures of Chris on PC and Nintendo Switch!
