Kettlebells: Clean up Your Clean!

The Kettlebell Clean is an incredible movement in and of itself for developing explosive power, grip strength and shoulder stability. However, I have seen quite a few fitness trainers on social media performing the movement with the elbow pits facing forward. This puts a great deal of stress on the elbow and limits the backswing, which is essential to all ballistic movements. The only time I employ this type of swing is when I’m doing a bottoms-up press.

If someone can elaborate on the advantages of this clean, as opposed to the one I employ, please do so.
