Typical Doctoring

I have been a medical doctor for nearly 27 years. I have practiced medicine for the first 22 years of my career as a typical family medicine doc... match a diagnosis to a disease, then match a treatment to the diagnosis. And then? Throw medicine at it.

The last 5 years I have spent undoing everything I was taught and have been learning the truth. Truth #1: There are no drugs that treat chronic diseases. There are only drugs that treat symptoms of those diseases. SYMPTOMS!

Truth #2 people are still getting sicker, and doctors are failing at their job description.
