Nabeel Qureshi EXPLAINS The Trinity

The Qur’an gets it completely wrong in Surah 5:116. It says Jesus told people to worship Him and His mother Mary as gods beside Allah. That’s false. Christians never believed Mary was part of the Trinity. This verse shows the author of the Qur’an didn’t understand what the Trinity even is. The Christian Trinity means one God, not three gods. One what (God), and three who’s (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). It’s not three separate beings. It’s one God in three persons.

If Allah didn’t understand the Christian faith correctly, then how can he be the real God?

Bible Verses (ESV):

Matthew 28:19 – "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." – One God, three persons.

John 1:1 – "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." – Jesus is eternal and fully God.

2 Corinthians 13:14 – "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." – Clear mention of the Trinity working as one.

The Qur’an misrepresents God.

Muslims, how can you trust a book that gets the Trinity so wrong? Come to Jesus Christ, the LIGHT OF THE WORLD, the AUTHOR OF SALVATION, the BREAD OF LIFE who gives you eternal truth.
