Having spent most of my long life in horticulture, I have known the real science of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere since way back in my college days. In the business of growing plants for the wholesale or retail landscape business, CO2 is a vital tool in getting strong growth in the least amount of time possible. Greenhouses are pumped with CO2 at rates up to 1000 times the concentration of normal air. The resulting growth is phenomenal and heat is not a by-product.
