As a beat em up fanatic, I’m always looking for the next best thing in this limited genre. And one of the biggest and best sources for more, is the OpenBor community. Where fans and devs use retro games, to create fixes, mods and experiments to help make the original games better or unique. Ultimate Double Dragon is a fan made experience, created by a hardcore fan “Mauricio Herrera (aka Mr.Q)” with help from original creator and former Technos artist Koji Ogata. Built from the original Super Double Dragon on the Super Nintendo (SNES). The combo/fighting system, music and sprite work are so well done, I had to make a gameplay demo to show all of you. And the best part about this game, is it’s FREE, plays great on mini consoles and is only a demo. Which means plenty is still to come. Please, comment below for more.
