Cheesy Sausage Pizza | Blackstone Griddles
Todd’s back with a fresh take on pizza—this time using the new Blackstone E-Series Pizza Oven. Watch as he whips up a homemade Cheesy Sausage Pizza with Delallo dough and shares tips from his years of dough-making trial and error.

Ingredients
Pizza dough (recommend Delallo Italian Pizza Dough Kit)
Pizza sauce (recommend Delallo Italian Margherita Pizza Sauce)
8-10 slices of provolone cheese
Fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 pound ground Italian sausage, cooked on Blackstone griddle
3-4 small tomatoes, sliced
Blackstone's Tuscan Herb seasoning
Fresh basil, thinly sliced
Extra virgin olive oil
Directions
1. Prepare the pizza dough according to package directions. Allow 45 minutes to 2 hours to proof.
2. Preheat your Blackstone Pizza Oven.
3. Shape the dough to your desired size. The Delallo kit makes four 10-inch pizzas or two 14–15-inch pizzas. Lightly dust your surface and pizza peel with Type 00 flour to prevent sticking.
4. Spread a thin, even layer of Margherita sauce on the dough.
5. Add provolone slices and shredded mozzarella, spacing them to leave about half the sauce visible.
6. Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the cheese. Add tomato slices and season with Tuscan Herb seasoning.
7. Bake the pizza in the oven at a stone temperature around 600°F. Cook until the cheese melts and the crust is golden and crispy—watch closely as time varies.
8. Remove the pizza and top with fresh basil.
9. Slice, drizzle with olive oil if desired, and serve hot.
