T-72 Tank Crews Support Assault Units in South Donetsk

Crews from the 5th Guards Tank Brigade of the "East" group of forces are actively supporting the offensive against Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in the South Donetsk direction. Utilizing both direct fire and long-range tactics from closed positions, they effectively engage enemy targets up to 10 kilometers away.

In a recent operation, tankers navigated through a forest belt to close in on a dugout occupied by an enemy machine gunner. Leveraging fire adjustments from UAV operators, the crew fired multiple 125mm high-explosive fragmentation shells, successfully neutralizing the threat and paving the way for advancing assault units.
