As part of the operation in northern Samaria, Duvdevan Unit fighters, under the direction of the Shin Bet, operated in the village of Qabatia in the Menashe Brigade to arrest two accomplices who were involved in the Pondok attack in which three Israeli civilians were murdered on January 6, 2025.

As part of the operation, the fighters surrounded the home of the terrorists, who eventually surrendered to the forces. During searches of the terrorists' home, two pistols and additional weapons were located.

The accomplices were arrested in parallel with the operation of the IDF and Shin Bet in the area and the arrest of the third attacker from the attack. The accomplices provided vital information about the attacker's whereabouts in the cave where he was eliminated.

The fighters of the Duvdevan unit, together with the security agencies, will continue to work to thwart terrorism throughout Judea and Samaria in order to maintain the security of the residents of the State of Israel.
