Today April 18 at 12:00 pm on OCP Bobby Cleveland and JJ Humphrey will have on a special guest Eve Spaulding. Eve has taken Matt’s place as the OCP Attorney. We will be discussing how Director Harpe is using appeals and mediation and wasting state money to try and break OCP. Director Harpe just had DOC taken out of a bill for Merrit Protection. Harpe tried to remove DOC while the bill was in the House but a big shout out to Pro Tempe Moore who fought to keep DOC in the bill. However, Senator Aver Frix caved and took DOC out. Frix said DOC can try again later. DOC can be add back into the bill but it will take all of us putting huge pressure to get that done. You, your friends, and your family need to call or visit Frix, at the Capitol. Call and visit other senators, it will take a considerable effort to force the senate to add us back. Lawton prison contracts are clearly revealing Harpe’s incompetence. The Department is practically falling down around him with reports that Dick Connors had to call in OIG to assist because they had lost control. It sounds like lots murders and violence this week. We use to call these riots but now in Harpe’s fairy tale they are called disturbances. How long will legislators and the Governor allow this to continue?
