El Camino de Mallorca

Yesterday I played "El camino de Mallorca", an instrumental song with peaceful sounds, perhaps a pilgrimage, a spiritual quest.
It is no coincidence that today marks the beginning of the path of Christ's passion (surrender, love and sacrifice). "El camino" refers to the journey, the movement towards something greater, just as Jesus began his journey towards the cross (out of love for humanity). Mallorca is an island known for its tranquility and beauty, and so it can symbolize the heart where faith flourishes, an inner peace achieved through following Christ. Since it is also an instrumental song, perhaps it calls us to live not only with words, but with attitudes and contemplative silence. Thus, I think, "El camino de Mallorca" would be like walking alongside Jesus, in prayer and love, going through the mystery of the Eucharist, of humble service and surrender.
