GTA: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition | Mission #27: THE GREEN SABRE

Grove Street Families are celebrating their recent reunification at Sweet’s house, preparing for a major strike against the Ballas. As CJ arrives, Sweet acknowledges his efforts in revitalizing the gang and invites him to join the upcoming attack under the Mulholland Intersection. Before CJ can meet Sweet, he gets an urgent call from Cesar, who insists on showing him something important. Reluctantly, CJ agrees and meets Cesar under a freeway at Verdant Bluffs. From a hidden vantage point, they witness a shocking betrayal—Ryder and Big Smoke emerge from a garage, revealing their alliance with C.R.A.S.H. and the Ballas. The final blow comes when the notorious Green Sabre is brought out, confirming their involvement in CJ’s mother’s murder.

Realizing Sweet is walking into a trap, CJ rushes to warn him, but he arrives too late. A deadly shootout is already underway, with Grove Street members outnumbered and Sweet critically wounded. With no hesitation, CJ fights back, taking down as many Ballas as possible, but the battle is ultimately lost. The police arrive, arresting both CJ and Sweet. Instead of being taken to jail, CJ is escorted by Officer Tenpenny and Pulaski to an unknown location. They taunt him, revealing that Sweet is alive but imprisoned, while CJ is being exiled to the countryside to do their dirty work. Stranded in the middle of nowhere, CJ is left with no allies, betrayed and alone, forced to start over.
