Good Friday: Scars of Love

Worldwide, the church body sets aside this day we call Good Friday to reflect on the reason our Lord Christ Jesus came to this earth as a man: To be the perfect sacrifice to once and for all pay for sins.
In tonight's message, Josh tries to show the incredible pain and agony our Creator willingly endured, just to redeem us under His divine grace. This message is heavy, and explores both the Scriptures and history to understand the depth He was willing to suffer on our behalf.

And ultimately, we look to understand how His visage will forever be changed as we try to fathom His "Scars of Love"

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
