CJ visits Big Smoke's house just as corrupt cops Tenpenny and Pulaski are leaving. Smoke insists they’re harassing him, but reassures CJ that his loyalty lies with the Grove. He then asks CJ to ride along with him to pick up his "cousin" from Mexico, though CJ quickly realizes it’s just an excuse to score some high-quality weed. They drive to East Los Santos, where Smoke approaches two Vagos gang members, introducing himself as "El Grando Smokio" and demanding the stash. The Vagos mock him, and things escalate when Smoke threatens them at gunpoint. As the situation turns violent, one of the Vagos takes off running. Smoke, out of breath after a short chase, leaves the pursuit to CJ. Now on foot, CJ must chase down and eliminate the fleeing Vagos member, ensuring Smoke’s reckless deal doesn’t come back to bite them.
