Psalm 110:1 shows that God the Father speaks to someone else called “my Lord”—and this person is Jesus. In Hebrew, the word used for “my Lord” is Adoni, but the meaning changes based on who it's referring to. Some Muslims try to say this proves Jesus isn’t God because He’s different from Yahweh—but they miss the main point: Jesus is sitting at God’s right hand, a place of power and rule that no prophet, no angel, no man was ever allowed to sit.

In Jewish history, no one sits beside God, because that throne belongs to God alone. But Jesus claims that spot, showing He shares in the rule of the universe. This is not Jesus being “less than God”—this is Jesus being God the Son, co-ruler with the Father, equal in glory, power, and authority.

Jesus even quoted this verse to show the Jews that the Messiah is more than just a man—He is Lord. And Peter confirmed it: Jesus is both Lord and Messiah, seated in heaven ruling now.

Bible Verses:

Matthew 22:44 – Jesus shows the Messiah is greater than David – “The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand…”

Acts 2:34–36 – Peter says Jesus is Lord and Messiah – “God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”

Hebrews 1:13 – God never said this to an angel – “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”

The Quran strips Jesus of His glory, calling Him a mere prophet. But no prophet ever claimed God’s throne. Only the Son of God can sit where God rules.

Muslims wake up and come to Jesus Christ, The Redeemer, and Savior, for your sins to enter the REAL Paradise.
