CJ walks in on a heated argument between Sweet and Kendl, who is defending her relationship with a Varrios Los Aztecas gang member, Cesar Vialpando. Tensions rise when CJ tries to protect Kendl, but Cesar proves he genuinely cares for her. While one of Cesar's friends, José, antagonizes CJ, Cesar de-escalates the situation, showing he’s not just another gangbanger. Though CJ remains skeptical, he acknowledges Cesar's sincerity, leaving room for a future alliance.
