GTA: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition | Mission #31: FIRST BASE; TANKER COMMANDER

Carl arrives at Catalina’s cabin hideout in the countryside, trying to apologize for ignoring her. As he pleads at the door, Catalina ambushes him, violently asserting control and holding him at gunpoint. After a tense moment, Carl convinces her of his devotion by offering to rob banks and let her kill anyone she wants. Catalina suddenly flips from rage to affection, declaring her love for Carl. Although taken aback, Carl plays along and agrees to go rob something with her. While driving, Catalina reminds Carl of their remaining targets: the Dillimore gas station, the Palomino Creek bank, and a Montgomery betting shop. Carl tries to suggest a calm, non-violent approach, but Catalina is in a psychotic mood—insisting she feels like killing every man she sees, except for a few special ones like Carl.

They head to Dillimore and attempt to rob the gas station. However, the bulletproof glass at the counter thwarts their plan. Infuriated, Catalina improvises and decides to steal a tanker truck filled with gasoline instead. Carl hooks up the trailer, and the two take off, pursued by the gas station attendant and his reluctant coworker, Derek, who give chase in a Sabre. As Carl drives the tanker toward RS Haul, the two pursuers attempt to ram them and shoot at the truck. Despite their efforts, Carl successfully delivers the tanker to Mr. Whittaker, who pays them in cash and pretends not to know them. He offers Carl future trucking work if he's interested. Catalina speeds off on a Sanchez dirt bike, leaving Carl alone at the depot with a wad of dirty money and a sense of unease about his new “relationship.”
