Liberals Defend Mass Murderers?

The Conservatives have released a new plank in their platform—and it’s driving Liberals up the wall. Pierre Poilievre is proposing to use the “notwithstanding clause” to ensure mass murderers serve full life sentences.

The plan would also deny automatic bail to Canada’s most violent offenders, finally addressing a justice system that sees repeat violent criminals walking free under house arrest—even after multiple murders.

But while Liberals defend early release for killers, they’re still all-in on confiscating legally owned property from gun owners who haven’t committed a single crime.
