UMP Modifieds at Oswego

A National career race at Oswego Speedway on Expert difficulty. This track surface is a bit choppy, but not bad. The night starts off with very good traction, but quickly gets slick on the bottom half of the track. I found the fastest line entering the corner on the low side and drifting out to the top side before exiting the corner. Running the top or bottom is relatively close in lap times. The biggest issue is passing in the corners, as you need to time the AI that drifts up just passed the midway point of the corners.

1 caution this race. It came on lap 32 as Michael Altobelli slid up the track into Drake Troutman, causing Altobelli to spin. I narrowly avoided this wreck that happened right in front of me. I still need to work on the setup a little bit to be more consistent and smooth come feature time, but it is pretty close. A bit of wall bumping and I did get into a couple cars while lapping them.
