For Easter, Pastor Jim today spoke on Acts 2:22-38 in a message titled "An Easter Sermon on Pentecost." Pastor chose this text as it really is an Easter sermon by Peter, but one given on Pentecost. It is that the message of the cross is the power of God. Pastor covered the coming of Christ, Christ crucified, His resurrection and our response to Christ. He included a great quote from John Stott: Before we can begin to see the cross as something done for us, we have to first see it as something done to us. Happy Easter.
