Mohammed Abu Tawila of Shuja'iyya spent over a year in zionist detention and prisons, tortured at every step and transfer, resulting in reduced mobility and vision. Such torture has resulted in the martyrdom of 65 prisoners since October 2023.

Upon his return to Gaza, he found his home destroyed, and he found himself displaced repeatedly.
