Amy N. Kaplan is a lover of stories who brings boundless imagination to the page. As the author of children’s books, RPG supplements, memoirs, poetry, romance, and fiction, she revels in crafting vivid worlds that come alive in readers' minds. Amy's passion for writing began as a young child in Chicago when she wrote poems, scripts, and even a neighborhood newspaper. She went on to publish her first book "Free Range RPG Player Journal” while running a game store.

Amy draws inspiration from life experience, classic tales, and precious moments with her supportive husband, five children, two cats, and lively grandkids. When she isn't writing, you can find her playing games, antiquing, or discussing her favorite fandoms. She also advocates for literacy and enjoys bringing the joy of reading to her community.

With ink-stained fingers and a heart brimming with stories, Amy invites you to join her on adventures that spark creativity, wisdom, and wonder.
