Elon Musk: Year after year, the regulatory oppression is worse and worse.

How is it possible that SpaceX could build a gigantic rocket faster than the government could move paper from one desk to another?

If that trend continues, which it will do, unless there's a conscious effort to have deregulation and have sensible regulation, then Mars will be impossible. We will be forever confined to Earth.

That would be a sad eulogy. If future aliens see us, come back and say, they almost made it. Too bad they regulated themselves. They had the rocket and everything. They had the rocket and everything.”
