It would be pointless to try and introduce Gene Simmons in a comprehensive way. He’s done too much, lived too long, and reinvented himself too many times to be summed up in a line or two. And so, I’ll simply tell you that my conversation with this legendary rock star led me to conclude that he is, among a great many other things, a patriot and a Momma’s boy.
