As a Christian, do you feel as if life has cheated on you? If you do, look in faith to Jesus. He was unjustly nailed to a cross so you could be forgiven of your sin and have a life that is fulfilling. Jesus Christ took our place on the Cross, bearing the weight of our sins so that through His grace, we will receive salvation. Yet, many believers today lose sight of this ultimate sacrifice, forgetting the profound transformation it brings—our identity as new creations in Christ. Why, then, do we so often fall into the same traps, the same sins, the same mistakes? The answer is simple: each time you act on the Word of God, you step closer to God and hear His voice clearer, but each time you focus on this world and choose worldly consideration above God, you step closer to satan.

As the man of God, Michael, reminds us, taking our Christian walk lightly can make us vulnerable to the enemy’s schemes—even as born-again believers. As you watch, reflect deeply on the suffering Jesus endured on His way to the Cross. He did it so we could receive the greatest gift of all—our salvation.
