Earth is burning. The Reapers have taken over, and other civilizations are falling like dominoes. Lead the final fight to save humanity and take back Earth from these terrifying machines, Commander Shepard. You’ll need backup for these battles. Fortunately, the galaxy has a habit of sending unexpected species your way. Recruit team members and forge new alliances, but be prepared to say goodbye at any time as partners make the ultimate sacrifice. It’s time for Commander Shepard to fight for the fate of the human race and save the galaxy.

In this playthrough we cover:

Act 2:
With the Council unwilling to band together in support of building the Prothean Device, Shepard decides to bypass them and appeal directly to their military leadership. Their first lead is to attend a War Summit between the major races, where a 1,500 year old rivalry is about to be put to the test.

Priority: Sur'Kesh:
Shepard travels to the Salarian homeworld to escort a fertile female Krogan, a key figure in curing the genophage. Upon arrival, Shepard mediates a tense meeting between the Krogan leader, Wreav, the Salarian Dalatrass, and Primarch Victus. The Krogan demand a cure for the genophage in exchange for their support against the Reapers. The Salarian Dalatrass reluctantly agrees, revealing the existence of a surviving female Krogan from Maelon's experiments. Shepard then leads a mission to extract the female Krogan from the STG facility, with the help or Mordin, defending against Cerberus attacks. Eve’s survival is key to the success of the genophage cure and Krogan Turian alliance, and Mordin rejoins the crew to begin synthesizing it.

N7: Cerberus Attack:
Responding to a distress call, Shepard investigates a Cerberus assault on an Alliance outpost. The mission involves clearing out Cerberus forces, including Assault Troopers and Centurions, and securing the area.

Tuchanka: Turian Platoon:
Shepard aids a Turian platoon, lead by Victus, the Primarch's son, trapped by Reaper forces while searching for a downed communications tower. After battling Brutes and Husks, Shepard secures the site, allowing the Turians to support the Krogan cure operation in exchange for Krogan boots on Palaven.

Tuchanka: Bomb:
Shepard is tasked with defusing a Turian-planted bomb on Tuchanka, now controlled by Cerberus. The mission involves battling Cerberus troops and navigating through the facility to disable the bomb. Victus sacrifices himself to successfully prevent the detonation, preserving the fragile alliance between the Turians and Krogan.​

Priority: Tuchanka:
Shepard leads a critical mission to cure the genophage. After defending the Krogan Hollows from a Reaper attack, the team pushes toward the Shroud, only to be ambushed and forced through ancient catacombs. To clear the Shroud, Shepard summons Kalros, the legendary Thresher Maw, who takes down the Reaper guarding it. Shepard reveals the Shroud sabotage to the Krogan that the Salarian Dalatrass wanted, thus preserving the Krogan alliance as a war asset. Mordin sacrifices himself to fix it the sabatoge in the Shroud tower so it can disperse the cure, saving the Krogan people.

N7: Cerberus Abductions:
Colonists have been vanishing from the remote outpost of Benning. Shepard investigates and uncovers a Cerberus operation abducting civilians for experimentation. Shepard eliminates the Cerberus force and rescues the remaining colonists.

N7: Cerberus Fighter Base:
Shepard and squad infiltrate a Cerberus fighter base. After disabling the station’s defense systems and eliminating Cerberus forces, Shepard uploads a virus to ground their entire fleet, delivering a major blow to Cerberus' air support capabilities.
