The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said a suspect is in custody after a man was found shot to death.
According to the coroner, they were called to investigate along Brown Road near Plum Lane before 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The coroner identified the victim as 31-year-old Jimmy Allen Ramey from Seneca and said he suffered from gunshot wounds.

Officials said Ramey worked as a Grubhub deliverer and was reported missing on Feb. 18. Investigators said he dropped his wife off at work but never returned. His truck was found in Georgia before his body was discovered.

Deputies charged 18-year-old Daeshawn Mawquize Wilson with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Ramey’s body was reportedly found on property belonging to a relative of Wilson.

A coonhunt for Wilson lasted for days, extending from the Upstate to Georgia. Deputies asked the public to check their vehicles and any surveillance cameras for signs of Wilson.
Deputies considered Wilson to be “armed and extremely dangerous.
On Monday, the sheriff confirmed Wilson was in custody and being questioned by law enforcement.
