On this Easter Monday we see that Hamas continues to refuse to release hostages to the surprise of no one that is a normal human being. Prime Minister Netanyahu is right to continue prioritizing Israel’s vital national interest and to refuse to cease hostilities. Why should we expect the Israeli’s to stop until Hamas is no longer a threat? We would not accept that type of continued threat here in the United States for on second. We would either destroy them no matter how long it takes or they would unconditionally surrender. Pope Francis died this morning so this is a good time to remind everyone he was absolutely wrong for promoting the false “genocide” blood libel against the Jewish state and its people: Israel only targets Hamas terrorists, not their human shields. By shifting the blame to Israel, the Pope encourages Hamas to continue using the civilians of Gaza as human shields. Hamas and Iran started this war, not Israel. Hamas leaders and Charter call for Israel’s destruction along with its entire Jewish population, as do the Iranians. By defending itself against Hamas Israel is not committing genocide but preventing one! The big question is can Israel and the United States ultimately prevent Iran from committing one with nuclear weapons to?
