The Brilliance of BVS & the Book of Luke

Christ is Lord but he has many imitators. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: Ultimate Edition performs an impression of the events surrounding the crucifixion of Jesus in the book of Luke. Lex Luthor plays the role of Pilate and the Left Thief as he sentences Superman to death and taunts his ability to save himself. Batman assumes the role of the Right Thief and the Centurion who recognize Christ as Lord when he witnesses the death of Superman. The epic events of this film are largely Superman's best imitation of Christ's heroism.
