20 Minute Upper Body Push HIT Calisthenics
The sun is back today! I made sure to acquire some. Today I did a HIT style push workout. So, I focused on shoulders, chest, and triceps. I warmed up with monkey bars. Going all the way across is getting so much easier! It's also a fantastic upper body warmup. From there, I did Pike Pushups. I made sure to keep my upper torso more perpendicular to the ground. When I get to 20 reps, I'll bring my other yoga block to increase my range of motion. From there, I did dips. Archer Pushups and Slam Ball Pushups were how I finished off my chest. I then did a variation of a @mountaindog1 exercise, Spider Crawls. I added a plank component to them instead of doing them just up against the wall. It really nailed my shoulders! I finished them off with Archer Laterals. From there, I hit triceps with extensions. As a rep got too hard, I moved my feet in a couple of baby steps to keep going. This is similar to doing drop sets. I rested 1:30 minute between each set. Tomorrow will be a pull day.
